Laugh #16

A well known blogger that I follow recently judged a cute kids quote contest. Here were the lucky winners. I must say, little kids always know how to make me laugh. :)

"THIS IS HOW YOU GET OLDER. YOU COLLECT BIRTHDAYS AND YOU EAT CAKE." WILLIAM GRAY, AGE 3

"YOU SHOULD ENJOY ME AS A KID, BECAUSE WHEN I'M A TEENAGER... I MIGHT BE WILD. I'M NOT SURE." ANNABELLE, AGE 4

"I CAN'T SAY SORRY BECAUSE I AM BUSY WHINING."

Laugh #15

May I share some words of wisdom from a 3 year-old: "I can't get Bieber Fever because it would make me very sick."

Laugh #14

Nothing like a good laugh to brighten your Monday morning! I came across this awesome blog about a dad who put on silly costumes every day and waved as his 16 year-old son got on the bus. I got a chuckle out of quite a few costumes. This dad's awesome sense of humor grabbed the attention of people around the world, including those in Brazil, the UK, Peru, Sweden, and Turkey! These people are definitely not afraid of a good laugh. And yes, his son was laughing, too! {click here} to laugh right along with them!

Lucky 13!

Well, have you ever heard of Minute To Win It? It's a game show where you have to solve given tasks using household items. One example of such a task is to pull all of the individual Kleenex's out of a Kleenex box using one hand in 60 seconds or less. My husband and I played a few Minute To Win It games last night in preparation for our family tournament in 3 weeks, and we couldn't stop laughing. It's ridiculous how difficult some of the tasks are. And they sound so easy! Go ahead. Try them out with a group of friends. You're bound to have a few good laughs.

I'm afraid of this getting to be more of a video blog, but I can't help but share this video of my little girl. I can't get enough of it! Enjoy.

Yet another contribution from one of you! This is from my hubby's cousin, Laura. Being a former ballet dancer I totally understand. Poor girl!

Laugh #10

My friend sent me a link to a funny, and I must say awkward, article from the local news station. I warn that grandparents may not think it's funny.

Go {here} to read it, have a laugh, and wonder what your neighbors see but don't have the guts to tell you. :)

Makenna is my almost 3 year-old neice. This is a conversation she had with her mom today.

Makenna: Am I your very best friend, Mom?
Mom: Yes. I love you! Am I your very best friend?
Makenna: Nope. Daddy is.

Laugh #6

While looking at a calendar this evening, I said to my husband with a puzzled look "I'm pretty sure my birthday is on the 8th this year."

I'm almost certain it's on the 8th every year. Just a hunch.

It's contagious.

{Sorry the quality is so poor. I'm experimenting with video formats. :) }

Laugh #4

My good friend Brindy sent this to me to share with you. The hubby and I had quite a laugh. Enjoy. :)

Lydia was about a year and a half. I had gathered some pine cones for use in decorations. They were sitting on the table when Lydia saw them and with a questioning look she said, "poo poo?" pointing to the pine cones. I told her, "No, that's not poo poo! Those are pine cones." I realized that she really takes in my teaching the next day when she got done going potty, turned around and upon seeing her product in the toilet, she said to me with a proud grin on her face, "Pine cone! ...Pine cone!"

My brother and his family are visiting from California. Here they are playing in a fresh batch of Utah powder. My baby and I watched inside. It was so fun to see how the kids reacted to the snow. The perfect way to spend a winter evening.

Rewind. Start Over.

Well, I still have this blog, and I really like the URL-- unique and happy. So I thought I might as well start a blog that's happy, too. Not that my old one wasn't. The URL just had nothing to do with the subject of my blog. I'm now going back to my original blog title: Laugh Often. So may I introduce you to my new project?

Find something that makes you laugh, smile, or just plain ol' happy. Email it to me and I'll post it so others can laugh/smile, too.

Maybe with a little luck we'll be able to make the world a better place by smiling and laughing together.
